Vacation Adventure Past III!
Well, just got back from San Antonio and boy was I half-surprised...it was more like shocked. I mean wouldn't you be? Going from a Humid 92 degrees to a cold, dry 31 degrees!! So much change in less than 3 hours, who knew? It's like while I was gone, Utah just decided to skip fall and head straight into winter!
But, it was an adventure getting there! My dad (who is not part of the adventure) went down on Thursday morning, and we tried to go down Friday morning. But, the plane was full, so we tried to get on another flight. That, too, was full. So we went to a third flight, and lucky me! I got the last seat!!! Yup, I left my mom, sister, and brother to fend for themselves. I had to make a stop in Phoenix...such an odd city, they have a mountain just randomly jutting up in the middle of the city! I didn't think of this at the time...but now that I do think about it, I guess it could've been a sacrificial alter or sumtin...
I made it to San Antonio at 7:00 at night! Can you imagine spending the whole day in an airport? Well, I guess 3 1/2 hours were spent on the plane... But anyways, I figured out that the rest of the family made it onto another flight into Houston then just drove the 3 hours to our hotel. Meanwhile, me and my dad went out had dinner on the River Walk and then walked part of the River walk. It is so awesome, yet strange. This has to be my longest blog yet!
Then Saturday, my dad went to his fish show again...and we went to the Alamo and saw lots of ghosts!! It was so much fun! Then after that we went got lost by our GPS on the way to Fiesta Texas (That's what they call Six Flags in that area). They have some pretty nasty roller coasters there! Once you've been to any Six Flags, you'll never want to go back to Lagoon! Then after there, we went to Outdoor World. It was so awesome, except it's kinda like Cabella's, but they had a Penguin Room!!! After leaving that fun place we went and got lost trying to return the car. I don't think our GPS knows much of anything! One time in California, we were trying to find a Denny's for breakfast, and it took us into this rich neighborhood on some hillside. No Denny's in site.
Then Sunday we all went to the fish show!! Then flew home. Yup. Notice how I kinda start with a grandeur and slowly get weaker? I don't know why this is... But doesn't Sunday sound like the most exciting part because I haven't told you anything about it?
In conclusion, I would like the person who was stalking me to fess up and then correct me on any of my misleading details!
Happy Readings and Future Adventures,
Bob
