Spring Break

Somehow Spring break isn't as wild as I remember it. Which...I suppose could possibly be good...but who knows?

Yup, I've had fun, but some people might say I need to get out and socialize more. I've spent all week in my man-cave teaching myself programming by way of installing and reinstalling different OS's. The only problem is the computer itself. I think it needs a new motherchip, it's quite quirky. But I can allow it to be that way because it's an older computer....A whole decade...it's almost half as old as I am! Wow! I've known this computer more than half of my life. How strange to think about...

But when thought about like that, it's no wonder I couldn't just leave it to sit in the basement corner collecting dust. It was calling to me, and now I will keep it alive and healthy for my [simple] purposes. Nothing's simple anymore, but nothing's too complicated.

That which has not been achieved is a challenge! Nothing will deter me or prevent me from accomplishing my dreams. ^_^

Still a chicken

I'm still me. Even though I have become a more sociable person (or so I'd like to think), I'm still me. I'm not sure what I want. I feel I've been getting more serious with this girl, more serious than I had supposed I'd get before I leave, but here I am.

Today, I had an inkling to kiss her. Just one of those thoughts in the back of the mind, but it was there. I don't know if she was waiting for that before doing her homework, but I'm still a coward. I kinda wanted to kiss her, but at the same time, I overanalyze every possible scenario. I guess I'm still afraid of the great unknown.

We keep moving forward

Well, I think I'm making excellent progress. Things are going swell! No more problems have surfaced yet, though I keep waiting for them...Darn pessimistic mindset xD

My philosophy class would think contrary to my title, but I'd care to disagree. We do move forward and we only move forward. Forget paradoxes, they're just an illusion to our imperfect minds. As a wise old shepherd once told me,

"I don't care what you believe, just believe it!" and then all was silent...

But aren't those great words to live by? Everything includes a small smattering of faith. I'm not talking about religion, I'm talking about life. Without faith, you have no purpose, no motivation, no electricity...not even any sunrises! Where's the fun in that??

Progress...anyone?

Progress is...well, I suppose most people would say a step forward. The question is, where do you define a step? How far forward can a step be taken to be considered a step? Do backwards ones count? I'm a person left with questions. Answers aren't exactly a strongsuit of mine. But I do my best.

Well, the last two weeks have certainly been interesting. I stepped out of my comfort zone and took two girls for a walk with me. It wasn't easy, and I'm sure they were confuzzled greatly at first. But after that first awkward moment it all came easier. I still don't know if I want any sort of serious relationship, but I have two girls who I am now more serious than before with.

The big question for me to decide is, if I do decide to get serious, which one would I pick? It's all so confusing to me as well. Ah well, I purpose that I will keep doing what I'm doing. Taking everything in stride and seeing where it takes me.

Let's deaux dis!

chaos

You. You look at your caverns/tunnels and call it a home. I look at 'em and say, "Dang. This is huge! You've had way too much time on your hands."

I look at my world. Chaos and randomness abounds. This is where I feel most at home. You can keep your caverns if you like, I'll stay here with my craters and fire! The first home built with my bear hands is where my base will always remain.

Indecision

Okay. So, I've figured this out about me. I think I know what I want, but when I can have it, my not-caring and indecisive side takes over. Particularly with relationships. I'm no good whatsoever. Lately my head has been thinking I need someething more serious. I had it once, I didn't exactly run away, but I didn't run towards it either. My feet were rooted to the ground, not a clue where to go or what to do. I may be at that spot once again (I'm not sure), but this time I've got to do the work. I can tell that it sure ain't coming for me this time. Maybe once again it'll just slide right on past and I'll slide on down. Guess I'll try taking it one stop at a time again...

Return of the Jerri?

Curisoity killed the cat...or so I'd like everyone to believe. A new semester at school, life's average. Sleep sounds good right now. Yeah. We'll see how this goes.

Crash...AUGH! So much blood!

Ok, so it's not that dramatic. Just ticked off that simple C++ knowledge allows me to read into the program, but Windows requires a password that nobody knows. I'm down to using my calculator's RNG, it's not working so well. If only I knew of a back door, or what sort of random nonsense password Chris would make up.

Ranting, ah well. Such is a journalish type thing. Guess I'm over quota now, maybe it'll get better, maybe worse. We shall see. Short smidgeons of ticked off, long whiles of listening to music and avoiding homework. The fires on the other foot.

September...

A new month! A new quota to be met! Nothing really comes to mind...well, Soccer's starting! YAY! I hope I like my team. XD

But other than that I have nothing on my mind, besides hating math. >.< So I'll just say some quotes or sumtin like dat.

The closer you get to something, the tougher it is to see it.
It's not the size of the things you can do that matters. What's important is the strength of your feelings

Curiosity killed the cat, but for a while I was a suspect.
My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the heck she is.

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder, a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.

Friends are like potatoes...if you eat them they die.

Your tears, lies, sadness, and regrets, everything is proof that I was here with you!

And that's not even past the first part of my notepad! XD so many good quotes...maybe some other time.

Here's the quota!

Looks like it’s blogging time! Gotta get my quota in before the end of the month. =p
It won’t be perfect, but I’ll try! Watch it all sound different than what I intend…

So yeah…I could blog about my vacations…I could blog about Camp Helaman…but it would take a while, actually, this is gonna take a while. Last night I told myself I’d leave Word up while I am on just so that I could write a half-decent post. I can’t do it under the pressure of time. So, I decided to write all day and see what comes of it. Of course I won’t post till tomorrow; otherwise what I said about the quota wouldn’t be relevant here.

First off, I’d like to start by stating the obvious. I’m an idiot. Everyone may see me as perfect, but I know how to lie. Sure everyone sees me as the perfect child, but there’s more than what they know. Somehow probably relating to this in some miniscule way is an empty threat. It bugs me when people say I’ve gone too far, then say something like: ‘I oughta hit you.’ Then I’ll say go for it, and they’ll just shrug it off. If you’re gonna threaten something, chances are, you’d better be willing to follow through with it. I know I deserve to be hit, punched, kicked, choose your poison, yet no one ever goes past an empty threat. It irritates me.

Now to get into the rant! Hooray for 1a.m. o’clock in the morning typing! That wall is partially broken, If only I weren’t at my desk but up at engineering state, there’d be more to say. But who knows?

The good thing about procrastinating, is that all the good thoughts can be put in at the last minute. Just like tonight, when I was leaving Cams. There was no reason for it, but while I was blading home one of the first thoughts after ‘What a beautiful night…ooo lightning!’ was something to the effect of ‘Where’d Brdeeds go?’ As if she were there watching and blading with me. I have no clue why it came, or why I’m typing it, but the backspace key is too far away, and the mouse even further! So it stays.

As the song goes, “Everybody has something, they had to leave behind.” Well, I’m sure it’s true. There’s always something in the past that holds us where we are. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you, if that’s what it truly is. I don’t know what I’m fighting for, but there’s just something in me that…can’t make up its mind. It just makes it up as it goes along.

And that’s the news from the desk. Hopefully I can copy and paste it before completely crashing.
Talk to ya’ll later…sometime, somehow, somewhere…

The Knack

Ok, so you've hit me spot on. Probably no picks again. But I will say I do have 'The Knack'. I might've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again.

The knack- a rare condition characterized by an extreme intuition of all things mechanical and electrical with total social ineptitude.

The whole reason for being an engineer. Plus if you haven't noticed already, I'm pretty much socially inept. =p

Dude! Engineering State was totally awesome! I had a great time. If I ever get the pics I may post em, who knows?

Well, some review that was, eh? So anyways, I leave have fun...dang, I just realized how much I miss it already! I just didn't want to leave. Someone updated my IE7 to IE8 and now the mouse follower will actually follow, but causes lag. and the right side bar merged with the left. *shakes head* I guess you can't leave the farm alone for two minutes. Otherwise the chickens will use paints new 'Kill' function to eat the cows.

I guess we'll find out. Between the plans to go to Oregon...and the ones for Moab...and the super secret ones to break into a safe and steal the secret recipe for the donut cookies that everyone seems to love...

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

That's right! Today is the day that I started to dream! The day I said, here we go! Let's take over China and be done with it all.

So yeah. I would like to thank you all for coming here to this momentous occasion. It is such an honor to be in the presence of one of the greatest confuzzled confuzzlers. Are you enjoying that greasy burger? I've laced it with a sleeping powder that should take effect any minute now, then we'll take your valuables and sell them on E-bay to the highest bidder. Just a reminder, you do not want to mess with those invisible ninjas. They're vicious...and rabid...and well, you should get the picture.

Enough blathering.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEREMY!!! (or Jerry...Bob...Hey you....Firefriend...etc.)

Time for dinner!
See ya'll later!

JEREMY!!! (or Jerry...Bob...Hey you....Firefriend...etc.)

Yup.

Well, I was thinking about posting something epic. But I think it can wait until I get out of this maze. I guess I can still blog about random things...

That was an awesome hike!

Too bad it's so late...I want some ice cream, but don't want to disturb the neighbors while looking for the key...

*whistles a little something from Journey*

NO! Not another dead end! That's the last time I follow one of you pixies...

CHECKMATE!

And that's the end of tonights bloggage.
